Erica's Fairy Forest

This enchanting Fairy Forest is a tribute to the memory of Erica Ní Draighneain (2010-2016), who cherished visits to Cootehill and her grandparents, the Fitzpatricks on Station Rd. Created by her parents, it honors Erica’s deep belief in fairies and magical realms.

Like all timeless fairy tales, Erica’s story included unexpected challenges, namely childhood cancer, which she bravely faced alongside many others. Despite the hardships, Erica’s determination to live fully inspired all who knew her.

In the realm of fairy tales, courage and resilience prevail. Erica’s fierce spirit resonated deeply, leaving an enduring impact on those who shared her journey.
