Win Your Wedding: Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter

1.1 The promoter is Errigal Country House Hotel Ltd, registered in Ireland with company number 378058, of Cavan Road, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, H16 KX07 (“Errigal”, “we”, “us”).

2. Key dates

2.1 All events take place at Errigal Country House Hotel, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. We may change an event date or time for reasons outside our control. If we do, we will tell every qualifying couple by email and post the change at errigalhotel.com/win-your-wedding.

3. Who can enter

3.1 Entry is free. No purchase is necessary.

3.2 Entries are made by a couple. Both partners must be 18 or over on the date of entry.

3.3 There is no restriction on where entrants live, but both partners must attend the hotel in person as set out in section 4.

3.4 Employees of Errigal Country House Hotel Ltd, employees of the supplier partners named in section 6, and their immediate families may not enter.

3.5 One entry per couple. Duplicate entries are ignored and do not increase the chance of being drawn.

4. How to enter and qualify

4.1 Enter using any of these: the form at errigalhotel.com/win-your-wedding, the Win Your Wedding form on Errigal’s Facebook or Instagram adverts, or the QR code on our printed material. Every route counts the same.

4.2 Attend a showcase evening. Both partners must attend one of the three showcase evenings in section 2, take part in a 15-minute show-around with our wedding team, and check in using the QR code on the night. A couple who has completed this step is a “qualifying couple”. Entrants receive an email with a link to book their show-around time.

4.3 Attend the Final Night. Both partners of a qualifying couple must be present at the Final Night on Saturday 20 February 2027 to be included in the draw. We will check couples in at the door.

4.4 We are not responsible for entries that are incomplete, late, or not received for technical reasons. Entries made by automated means or in breach of these terms are void.

5. The Final Night: how the winner is chosen

5.1 At the Final Night, 10 finalist couples are drawn at random, live, from the qualifying couples who have checked in that night.

5.2 If a drawn couple is not present, or one partner is not present, another couple is drawn in their place.

5.3 The 10 finalist couples take part in a series of games, such as “how well do you know your partner”, played round by round. Every couple is asked the same or equivalent questions, and the host keeps score in front of the audience.

5.4 The couple with the highest score at the end of the final round wins the prize. If scores are tied, a tie-break question is asked until there is a single winner.

5.5 The couples finishing 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th in the game win the runner-up prizes in section 7.

5.6 Our supplier partners sit on stage as a guest panel during the Final Night. The panel does not score the game or choose the winner.

5.7 The host’s decision on scoring and on any dispute on the night is final.

6. The prize

6.1 One prize: a wedding at Errigal Country House Hotel for 75 guests, with a total value of €17,000. This is made up of:

• Errigal’s wedding package for 75 guests (value €7,000), and
• the complete wedding offering of each of our supplier partners, given free to the winning couple, with a combined value of €10,000: photography and video – Lavery Photo & Video; band – Odd Time; menswear – E&M’s; bridal wear – Amsha Bridal; with further partners listed at errigalhotel.com/win-your-wedding as they confirm

6.2 The wedding must take place on an off-peak date in 2027 or 2028. Off-peak means Sunday to Thursday, excluding July, August, bank holiday weekends and Christmas week. The date is subject to availability.

6.3 The winning couple may choose any of our three wedding venues, the R&R Brasserie, the Garden Terrace or the Skeffington Suite, subject to availability. Because the prize excludes July and August, a Garden Terrace prize wedding can only take place in June or September.

6.4 Guests beyond 75 are charged at our peak per-guest rate for the chosen package at the time of booking.

6.5 Each supplier partner’s service is provided by that supplier, on their own terms, and is subject to their availability on the wedding date. If a partner cannot provide their service on the chosen date, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative supplier offering of similar value. We are not liable for the services of supplier partners.

6.6 The winning couple must confirm their wedding date with us within 2 weeks of the Final Night, that is, by Saturday 6 March 2027. If they do not, we may withdraw the prize.

6.7 The prize has no cash alternative. It cannot be transferred, exchanged or sold. Items not used on the day are forfeited.

6.8 The prize does not include anything not stated above, such as accommodation beyond what is included in the Errigal package, travel, ceremony officiant fees, State civil registration fees, or wedding attire not covered by a partner’s offering.

7. Runner-up prizes

7.1 Four runner-up couples each win an Errigal hamper and €1,000 off their wedding at Errigal.

7.2 To use the €1,000 discount, the couple must book their wedding at Errigal and pay the booking deposit within 14 days of the Final Night, that is, by Saturday 6 March 2027.

7.3 The discount applies only to a wedding with a total value of at least €10,000 before the discount is applied.

7.4 The discount cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or combined with the main prize.

8. Book now and stay in the draw

8.1 A couple who pays a wedding deposit within 14 days of attending their showcase evening receives a free Errigal gift box (value €325) and stays in the competition.

8.2 If a couple who has already booked wins the main prize, the value of the prize is taken off the cost of their booked wedding.

8.3 Booking is never required to enter or win.

9. Publicity

9.1 By taking part in the Final Night, finalists agree that the event may be photographed and filmed, and that Errigal may use those images in its marketing.

9.2 The winning couple agree to take part in reasonable publicity, including their first names, county and photographs, for up to 24 months after the Final Night.

10. Your personal data

10.1 We use entrants’ details to run the competition, to book show-arounds and to contact finalists and winners. We will only send wedding offers and news to entrants who tick the separate marketing consent box, and they can unsubscribe at any time.

10.2 Full details are in our privacy policy.

11. General

11.1 We may cancel, suspend or change the competition if events outside our reasonable control make it necessary. If we do, we will tell entrants promptly.

11.2 We may disqualify any entrant who breaks these terms or behaves in a way that disrupts the showcase evenings or the Final Night.

11.3 This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or run by Meta (Facebook or Instagram).

11.4 Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

11.5 These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.

11.6 By entering, entrants agree to these terms.
